Happy March Fools’ Day!

It’s customary to celebrate 1st April as April Fools’ Day, but there is nothing particularly impressive about the day that suggests that it deserves the honour. I propose that we celebrate 1st March as March Fools’ Day.

You ask why? It’s because February is a funny month. With no more than twenty-nine days, it never ceases to amaze me — I expect day 30 of the month, and lo and behold, it’s March already! Did the dog eat three days of my time?

Saw this joke about whether a person is addicted to the Net. He steps out of his room and finds his parents have moved and he has no idea when it happened.

I think your mom is trying to tell you something! :-)

(Don’t give yourself over to the electronic hive. Like all technological seductions, one doesn’t acknowledge it is happening until one is lost, or even then…)

It says something about the parents, doesn’t it? They get relocated and forget to tell the poor guy. :-)

Some people may think I am addicted to the computer but I’m not really…you should see the guys who are *really* addicted. Strangely, I’ve yet to find a _girl_ who is very interested in using a computer when there’s nothing that needs to be done, let alone get addicted to it. I wonder why.

So why am I not surprised at that! Unlike guys, girls don’t go crazy over things just because they are electronic or can be made to run/ race/ fly using a remote control or have strange flashing lights or make lots of sounds (crash/bang/boom as in the video games)

  5. Aruna Says:

Hey, that was me– managed to misspell my own name! hmm.…well, so long as I remember my name– I guess, it’s okay :-D

  6. Ramnath R Iyer Says:

    Don’t worry, I corrected the spelling. :-)

  7. Aruna Says:

    Hey! That’s cool :-D

…that today is the first of April — April Fools’ Day. So if anyone says something that is shocking, outrageous, weird, crazy or silly, simply respond with something twice as strange as the original, and watch the look on the face of the prankster.[This
